Your responsibilities
Performs preventive maintenance on HVAC systems in all buildings, under the direction of contractors or plant manager. Maintains tracking mechanism to show requirements and completion dates.
Manages company vehicle maintenance program. Maintains spreadsheet listing all company vehicles and their maintenance requirements. May perform maintenance tasks or coordinate with outside service. Includes completion dates.
Performs minor electrical repairs as required. This includes but is not limited to: outlet replacement, fluorescent bulb replacement and troubleshooting electrical issues.
Performs minor plumbing repairs as required. This includes but not limited to: clearing clogs, sealing leaks and troubleshooting plumbing issues.
Serves as main contact for alarm systems, cranes, recycling efforts and waste removal.
Monitors and manages electrical usage involving air conditioning units
Performs general building maintenance which involves painting, caulking and other tasks.
May coordinate site metal recycling pickup.
May clear snow from entrance door areas as required.
May perform landscaping duties. This includes but not limited to: replacing mulch, planting flowers, removing weeds.
Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager.
Your profile
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Two years’ experience in commercial maintenance including responsibility for electrical, plumbing and HVAC or equivalent combination of education and experience.
