KHS Corpoplast sets up new spare parts warehouse in Shanghai
To be able to perfectly satisfy customer requirements at a local level, KHS Corpoplast recently opened a spare parts warehouse in China at its site in Shanghai. The warehouse stocks spare parts to the value of over one million euros – practically the full range of parts used in the InnoPET Blomax Series III and InnoPET Blomax Series IV generations of blow molders. From the point of view of logistics, KHS Corpoplast's spare parts warehouse has an outstanding location. Thanks to its proximity to the inland airport of Shanghai Hong Qiao, for instance, Chinese customers can be supplied with spare parts within 6 to 48 hours. Another aspect that promotes the fast and reliable delivery of spare parts on the Chinese market is a cooperation with China Air Express, one of the biggest air cargo services in China. Geoffrey Chan, Managing Director of KHS Corpoplast Trading Shanghai, claims that the beverage market in China is booming. "Most of our customers are producing around the clock. In opening our new KHS Corpoplast spare parts warehouse we are acting in the interests of our customers to ensure that they receive the best possible service and the highest levels of availability from our blow molders. In doing so we are continuing to strengthen our position on the Chinese market." Over the past few years especially, sales of KHS Corpoplast blow molders have positively boomed on the Chinese market. Otto Krumeich, head of service for KHS Corpoplast, says, "China is not only a fast growing market; it's also one of the most demanding markets in the world. It wants cutting-edge technology, which we can provide exactly as required with our new InnoPET Blomax Series IV generation of stretch blow molders.
