ISO 27001: worldwide implementation and certification for KHS
Outstanding information security for Product Development, Sales, Order Processing and Service
- Robust structure against cyberattacks and data theft confirmed
- Information security management system (ISMS) audited by TÜV SÜD
- ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for Product Development, Sales, Order Processing and Service
Dortmund, November 26, 2024 – Outstanding information security for Product Development, Sales, Order Processing and Service: the KHS Group has had the information security management system at all of its production sites worldwide certified by TÜV SÜD according to norm ISO/IEC 27001:2022. This internationally recognized certification verifies the high standard in place at KHS.
With the above, the KHS Group provides its customers with proof of its individual performance in the setup, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of information security measures above and beyond the required level. “By issuing us with this certificate, TÜV SÜD not only attests that we’ve recognized just how incredibly important this topic is but that we’re also assuming responsibility for the same on a global scale,” says Martin Resch, head of Finance, Purchasing and Information Technology at KHS.
Certification of KHS’ ISMS confirms that the protection of the information environment in conjunction with the core processes in Product Development, Sales, Order Processing and Service is based on the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001:2022.
Global validity for all production sites
As an international company with national and international plants, it was thus logical for the Dortmund systems supplier to establish a common information security management system valid for all of its production sites and to have this independently certified. After all, the significance and relevance of this issue are constantly increasing. “People expect that we provide a maximum level of security,” states Resch. Furthermore, in doing so KHS saves its customers considerable effort, as in many cases certification renders extensive documentation of information security measures between partners superfluous. “At KHS, this applies equally to processes and systems and to IT,” Resch continues.
For the entire KHS Group, the certified ISMS is part of its promise to its customers to serve as their reliable partner. This also includes regular recurring audits by TÜV SÜD at all production facilities in the future, too.
