Martin Resch to become new head of Finance, Purchasing and IT for the KHS Group
Martin Resch is to become the new head of Finance, Purchasing and Information Technology for the KHS Group as of January 1, 2016. This was the decision reached by the Supervisory Board on November 26, 2015.
Dortmund, December 14, 2015 – Martin Resch is to become the new head of Finance, Purchasing and Information Technology for the KHS Group as of January 1, 2016. This was the decision reached by the Supervisory Board on November 26, 2015. He takes over this position from Burkhard Becker, who has acted in this post for the KHS Group since the end of March of this year in addition to his responsibilities as CFO of the Salzgitter Group. Becker shall remain a member of the Executive Management Board for special tasks until June 30, 2016. This change in the Executive Management Board of the systems supplier of filling and packaging technology is part of the restructure initiated at the beginning of this year. The aim is to simplify processes and create clearer areas of responsibility. Besides Martin Resch and Burkhard Becker the Executive Management Board consists of Prof. E.h. Dr.-Ing. Johann Grabenweger, responsible for Sales and Service, and CEO Prof. Dr.-Ing. Matthias Niemeyer, responsible for Development, Technology and Production. This change in position takes Mr. Resch from his post as managing director of Salzgitter Mannesmann Precision GmbH, responsible for Controlling, Finance and Accounting, IT and Purchasing, to the technology sector of the KHS Group at its headquarters in Dortmund, Germany. He has already defined his first goals in his new position. About Martin Resch Born in 1966 in Thalmässing in Bavaria, Germany, the business graduate has passed through many stations in his career, including working as head of Controlling and Finance and Accounting and since 2009 general agent for Klöckner-Werke. In 2011 he moved from Klöckner-Werke to the Energy Division of Salzgitter AG, initially as managing director of Salzgitter Mannesmann Line Pipe. From April 2013 to the end of 2015 he has acted as managing director of Salzgitter Mannesmann Precision, responsible for Controlling, Finance and Accounting, IT, Purchasing and Strategy.
