New compact Innokeg Till CombiKeg keg line for small and medium-sized companies
With its Innokeg Till CombiKeg KHS has launched a compact keg washing and racking machine to the market that houses not only the systems for washing the kegs inside and out and filling them, but also the media tanks, controls, and conveyors. Shipped fully assembled in a standard-size container, the Innokeg Till CombiKeg can be commissioned in the shortest time imaginable according to the Plug & Produce™ principle. With capacities of between 60 and 100 kegs per hour, the Innokeg Till CombiKeg works on the principle of rotary processing, which KHS has been successfully operating and steadily further developing for decades. The target group for the Innokeg Till CombiKeg is primarily small to medium-sized businesses in the brewing, soft drinks, mineral water, fruit juice, and wine sectors. The system processes kegs of all sizes, from 10-liter right up to 58-liter kegs. The Innokeg Till CombiKeg is also designed to fill disposable kegs such as Petainer kegs. The Innokeg Till CombiKeg is modular in design, enabling a great number of possible configuration options. The standard R 3/1 model of the Innokeg Till CombiKeg has three washing heads, one racking head, and a volumetric filling system with return gas control. Depending on the product and output required, an R 5/1 version of the Innokeg Till CombiKeg is also available equipped with five washing heads and one racking head. In place of the classic return gas control system, KHS patented Direct Flow Control (DFC) filling technology is also available as an option. The exterior keg washer can be optionally integrated into the housing of the Innokeg Till CombiKeg. Without an exterior keg washer, this space in the system remains vacant. The washing process benefits from the extended caustic soaking of the keg interior. The wide range of peripheral equipment that can be installed downstream of the keg washing and racking processes demonstrates just how flexible the keg line can be. Whether extra equipment such as keg scales, a keg turner, keg capper, camera, etc. all are doable. All in all, the Innokeg Till CombiKeg combines space and cost savings, minimized commissioning time, the necessary flexibility, and top quality washing and racking – all with a line efficiency of more than 95%. The Innokeg Till CombiKeg should be of great interest to both developed and developing keg markets.
