KHS Electrical Engineering
Electrical engineering is at the heart of our innovative machines. The optimum distribution of electricity both inline and interline ensures a reliable supply of power and thus smooth operation of your production processes.
When planning your future system, we draw up specific KHS electrical specifications (ETS) which naturally take your individual requirements regarding the site of your future machinery into full account. The ETS is the central document governing the design of the electrical equipment of individual machines and system components in a complete line. All machines are designed and tested on completion based on the ETS.
The main system distributor is equipped with a multimeter which can store specific events predefined by KHS and read out as and when necessary. Typical events include overshooting and undershooting of permissible voltage tolerances, for example. Thanks to careful data acquisition you can draw clear conclusions as to the stability and quality of your power supply, allowing you to intervene in good time should the electronics malfunction.
To avoid production loss in the event of a power failure an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) or a voltage stabilizer can be integrated as an option. This gives you a constant electricity supply without interrupting your production chain. Other available options include transformers for adapting voltages and main power supplies.
Providing an optimum electrical supply for your system components is just as much our responsibility as the ideal external wiring of your machinery.
